In addition to the temple, there’s a well-preserved ancient theater nearby, which could seat approximately 4,000 spectators, making it a testament to the artistic and architectural prowess of the ancient civilization.This remote gem offers a serene escape, surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, and distant Mediterranean views.

After enjoying your breakfast in Palermo, you check-out to begin your journey to Selinunte, an amazing archaeological site on the southwestern coast of Sicily, which stands as a testament to the ancient Greek civilization’s grandeur. Today, you’ll explore Scicli, Ragusa and Modica. These three charming towns, collectively known as the Val di Noto, are celebrated for their stunning baroque architecture, rich history, and delectable culinary traditions and are part of the Unesco World Heritage list since 2002.
You’ll dive in the suggestive countryside of Scicli to explore a very intriguing Mediterranean nursery garden. The farm is run in a familiar context that encourages the work to be done manually, thus always maintaining high standards in quality. Here the plant is valued as a fundamental part of a territory to understand, rediscover and respect, with the knowledge of finding yourself in the middle of the Mediterranean, melting pot of countless cultures for thousands of years. Enrico, the owner and agronomist, will guide you through a multisensorial itinerary of unknown flavors and forgotten fragrances that will end in the kitchen garden area with a nice rustic style lunch.
After lunch proceed to Modica, one of the most special little romantic corners of Sicily with its abundance of Baroque Churches and Palaces, and pretty squares lines with palm trees. Highlights would include the magnificent Duomo (di San Giorgio), and countless chapels, churches, monasteries and private palazzos, cobblestoned narrow walkways.
